Established in the Village on Wexford Street in March 2005, Songs of Praise is "now firmly established as the city's place to go on the Lord's Day". [The Guardian]. and is "The best Karaoke Experience in town..... & country" [The Dubliner September 2010].

What is Rock & Roll Karaoke - well it's more than just an excuse to make a glorious fool of yourself on a big stage infront of your mates. It's an irreverant homage to all that's great about Punk, Indie, Metal, Electro Pop, 80's, Ska, Hip Hop and Classic Rock. With a cheesy wink towards your guilty pleasures. It's what seperates Songs of Praise from other Karaoke nights.
Hosted by Brother Dave with plenty of indie pop, classic rock and 80's delights from DJ Rory Montane.
Now more than ever people need to get a little crazy on their nights out, and at Songs of Praise we do crazy in a special way. Get up on our Marshal Amp draped stage and act the Rock Star, dance your ass off to our DJs, or sit back and take in the mayhem. Songs of Praise is always a memorable night out, it's always free and you'll always get your rocks off.
Who would have bet that six years on, not only would we still be packing in the lunatics weekly, we would also have taken Songs of Praise on the road for a series of tours, hosted stages at the Electric Picnic, Trinity Ball and the Oxegen Festival, not to mention put on some pretty special private parties.
